Listique’s Recommendation

Although their slogan, ‘good things for the larder’ sounds simple or limited, The Partridges Food Market is anything but. In fact, the original Partridges was started as a way to give a diverse range of start-up business, farmers and small producers the opportunity to share their love of a wide variety of good quality food and wines with the people of London. The business earned its Royal Warrant in 1994 by appointment to HM The Queen, and upholds the promise to always deliver the highest standards of service. Partridges pride themselves on launching an interactive platform for food start-ups and artisans to develop their ideas, and test the waters by sharing them with the public. They’ve certainly got our vote.

About Partridges

In 1972, Sir Richard Shepherd opened Partridges in Sloane Street, Chelsea. Today, this family-run business is one of the few remaining family-run food shops in London that provides the finest in high-quality food and drink imported from all around the world. Having relocated to the Duke of York Square on King’s Road, the branch now offers a delicatessen counter, a café, a range of American groceries and a weekly Saturday Fine Food Market.
