With the hospitality sector slowly emerging from lockdown we're excited to see all the luxury hotels lined up and ready to open! From townhouses and beach resorts to 16 storey super boutique hotels - here are the hotels in the UK and abroad that we can't wait to open.

NoMad London, London

Staying at home this summer? Why not play at being a tourist in your own city and stay at the NoMad London? Founded by New York-based hospitality company Sydell Group, (best known for helping to launch The Ned), this is the first international outpost for The NoMad Hotel brand. Sitting in what was the Bow Street Magistrates Court, a 19th century police station, (opposite the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden) the hotel is designed in collaboration with award-winning New York based firm Roman and Williams and will infuse NoMad richness with elegance, luxury and a touch of playfulness.

As with the other NoMad properties, food and drink will play a central role. You’ll find the main restaurant in a light filled atrium, where Executive Chef Ian Coogan will also serve a shared plates menu inspired by his Mexican heritage, alongside a curated, agave-based spirits programme. Want more of a pub environment? You’ll want to visit The Side Hustle, which marries pub comfort with NoMad’s signature style. The Library will be a place for all guests to unwind with a coffee, snacks or a glass of wine. And in a NoMad first, Command Decency will be the hotel’s lounge. When the night sets, DJs will take to the decks in this lively, subterranean craft cocktail bar.

Art fans will find an art programme that explore the exchange of creative ideas and celebrates the influence of post-war American art and European avant-garde.

Taking bookings from the 25th May 2021

The PIG - in the South Downs, West Sussex

There’s a new addition coming to The PIG family! The PIG - in the South Downs is set to open this summer meaning that if you’re planning a tour of the south coast this year you can hop from PIG to PIG as there’ll now be a PIG in every south coast county. Situated in the Grade II listed Madehurst Lodge near Arundel, the new PIG will follow the other members of the family, with the kitchen gardens and restaurants at the heart of the hotel. Everything will either be grown in the garden, or if not, sourced within a 25-mile radius.

Opening Summer 2021

The Yard, Bath

Bath is one of our favourite cities, the UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to iconic landmarks such as the Royal Crescent, The Circus and the Roman Baths. The Georgian city is famed for its links to Jane Austen and has appeared in a number of period films and series including Bridgerton. And soon, you will find The Yard. The 14 bedroom boutique hotel is set around a beautiful historic courtyard in the centre of the city, making it the perfect location to reach the restaurants, bars and historic sights.

Working with local suppliers from Bath, Stroud and Gloucestershire the interiors will be design-led and inspired by the heritage of Bath. Expect to find Nespresso machines in every room, king size beds, REN toiletries, rainfall showers and Netflix! Breakfast will be served both downstairs or if you want a lazy morning in your room. Throughout the day coffee will be served on the ground floor and by night: handpicked wines, beers and cocktails.

Set to open 1st June 2021

The Londoner, London

Described as the world’s first super boutique hotel, The Londoner is the latest opening from Edwardian Hotels. Whilst the new-build delivers that charming boutique feel it is anything but boutique in size. Employing methods of sustainable luxury, the 16 storey building will open with 350 guest rooms, suites and a tower house penthouse with panoramic views as well as two private screening rooms, six concept eateries including a Japanese lounge bar with rooftop terrace and fire pit, plus a gym, spa, barber and hair salon, swimming pool, event spaces and an expansive ballroom with room for over 860 guests - as we say, not boutique in size!

The contemporary aesthetic is the work of Yabu Pushelberg, the world-renowned designers behind the Four Seasons hotel in Downtown Manhattan New York, Jean George’s The Fulton and luxury retailer Lane Crawford’s 150,000-square-foot Shanghai flagship. Taking centre stage in Leicester Square, this city resort is here to offer the capital an urban oasis.

Comprising of three private beaches including a private beachfront for families, a panoramic clifftop for adults and a secluded hideaway immersed in the greenway it will have a real indoor-outdoor lifestyle, think spacious suites and natural materials of raw stone and wood.
