Pandora Art Services | Art on Superyachts
Led by Oxford-educated art historian Pandora Mather-Lees, Art On Superyachts provides training to those working for owners of fine art, in particular aboard superyachts.
The customisable one or two day course is made up of up to ten modules delivered as lectures or workshops and covers three main topics. Modules covering art appreciation will close the gaps in the crew’s knowledge of the high-stakes global art market, the intrinsic value of the items and will give an insight into art history, the major art movements and periods and the correct terminology.
Training will also cover care and conservation, how to avoid climatic damage and the correct placement onboard, whilst the last part of the course looks at the legal export risks. Without an understanding of the documentation and protocols necessary and the laws and regulations in place, superyachts can find themselves facing criminal penalties.
The course is a must for anyone working in the superyacht or luxury hospitality industry.
